Feasibility Study

Every project we take on starts with a technical feasibility study. It shows the risks and the options before you spend money on land, buildings or machines.

A clear picture before you build

It suits first-time agripreneurs and large agribusinesses alike, from a small food kiosk to a full farm or processing factory.

The study looks at the land and soil, the energy and water the project needs, the capacity it should be built for and the market it will sell into.

The fee depends on the scale and complexity of the project, and we quote it before any work starts. Transport, sample collection and extended consultations may cost extra; we agree these in the quote.

In the field

Fieldwork before the report

A study is fieldwork before it is a report. These are the checks that go into it.

Samples from the plot

Soil is sampled on site and bagged for analysis, so the plan rests on what the land can grow and what it needs.

A hand holds a handheld GPS unit showing satellite readings
Located and measured

Plots are fixed with GPS, so the farm or factory layout matches the land it will sit on.

Talking it through

We meet the client and the community on site to hear what the project has to do, and for whom.

Before you get in touch

What to have ready

Not always. The study can include a site visit or run as a virtual session with our specialists.

You move to design with the full picture. We can take the project on from there, through farm setup, processing infrastructure or greenhouses and irrigation.
