What our
work changes

We count success in lives improved and systems that last, as much as in sales or hectares.

The figures
we stand behind

580+Hectares of farmland managed for clients
43Climate-smart irrigation systems installed
35+Cooperatives in our network
10+Countries our food has reached

Only figures our own documents agree on are shown here. Numbers for farmers, trainees and jobs will be added once they are confirmed.

Where we
work

Our cooperative network covers five regions of Cameroon. The head office and the Bonduma Gate processing facility are in the Southwest.

to the field

Training, inputs, infrastructure or research: we design programmes with funders and institutions, and we deliver them in the field.

Youth and women

Mumita was founded and is led by young people, and young people and women come first in how we hire and who we train. That means courses in agro-processing and climate-smart farming, the ChefPreneur incubator for young caterers and dieticians at Praïs, placements for university students, and supply contracts for women-led cooperatives.

Climate action

Irrigation, greenhouses and post-harvest preservation all serve one aim: farms that hold up in erratic weather. We promote organic fertiliser and plant-based pest control, and we have piloted circular models such as turning cassava waste into animal feed.

Nutrition and safe food

Through Praïs and our food brands we work on what people eat. Nutritionists give diet counselling to vulnerable groups, community drama shows rural shoppers how to recognise safe, chemical-free food, and our research develops enriched flours and custards for children.

Trade and jobs

We link farmers to markets, build warehouse systems and supply supermarkets and institutional buyers. Each of these makes the food economy stronger, starting at the farm. Our food has reached more than ten countries, and we take part in national and international grant projects.
