    In the field

Smallholder farmers, many of them women and young people, grow the leaves, guided by our agronomists.

  2. 02

    Into the cold room

After harvest, produce is graded and kept cold, so less of it spoils between the field and the factory.

  3. 03

    Washed and cut

In the processing room the leaves are washed and pre-cut, under hygienic, food-grade conditions.

  4. 04

    Dried or frozen

Then they go into the drying cabinets, or into the freezer, so they keep their taste and their nutrients.

  5. 05

    Into the pouch

Weighed, sealed and labelled, then packed by the carton for shops and distributors.
