Boost your farm's productivity with Mumita's training programmes

Climate-smart practice, business modelling, customer discovery and digital logistics, and why the cooperative comes before the course.

Why training

Agriculture drives economic growth across Africa, but gaps in training and outdated farming practice hold productivity back. Mumita runs training programmes that give farmers the skills and know-how to raise their yields and their profits. This is how they work.

Training built around your farm

No two farms have the same needs or problems, so we shape each programme around the farm in front of us. We start by working out with you what needs to improve, then build the training around that, so what you learn fits your own land.

Hands-on learning

People learn best by doing, so our sessions are as much about practice as about information. The trainers have years of experience in agriculture. They take you through each step and show you how to use new techniques and technologies on your own farm.

Up-to-date farming techniques

Farming keeps changing, and the farmers who keep up stay ahead. We teach current techniques and tools that raise yields and profits, from precision agriculture to crop rotation.

Meeting other farmers

The courses also bring you together with other farmers and people from the industry. You hear what worked for them, share what worked for you, and leave with contacts who can help your farm.

What it gives you

For a farmer or agricultural operator who wants to be more productive, Mumita's training is money well spent. You learn current techniques in a way that fits your farm, and the contacts you make keep helping long after the course ends. Get in touch to hear more about the programmes and how they could help you reach your goals.
